Welcome to the second Tech & Data Day

After a successful Tech & Data Day in June, and in anticipation of the annual CLARIAH Conference in November, we will be hosting a low-key, informal afternoon on Thursday 28 September.

Date and time

Thursday 28 September, 12.00 - 18.00

Join us at DANS-KNAW (Anna van Saksenlaan 51, 2593 HW, The Hague), for a low-key, informal afternoon on Thursday 28 September, where we will start at 12:00 with lunch.

Activities

There will be activities aimed at collectively improving our research infrastructure, and of course plenty of opportunity to catch up on developments in data and tech. We will try out the DANS Data Station Social Sciences and humanities, engage with the heritage data research projects, discuss the FAIRness of humanities data, and see how a Large Language Model can be made to interact with a knowledge graph — effectively speaking to our data in natural language.

At the end of the event, drinks will be served.

Please make sure to bring your own laptop with you.
