Julia Neugarten

Julia Neugarten obtained a research master's in Literary Studies from the University of Amsterdam in 2021. Her research interests include fan communities, fanfiction, digital humanities and food studies. During her master's, she completed an internship at the Huygens Institute for the History of the Netherlands, researching the way that the impact of books is expressed in online book reviews. Julia also worked as a research assistant in the TRACE-project: Tracking Radio Archival Collections in Europe. Her work has been published in the Digital Literature Review.
Within CLARIAH, Julia is affiliated with work package 6: Text. As Project Lead and Trainee she works on several use cases developing and showcasing tools and datasets for the digital analysis of texts.
