Liselore Tissen is a lecturer in Digital Humanities and an external PhD candidate at Leiden University (Humanities) & Delft University of Technology (Faculty of Mechanical, Maritime and Materials Engineering). Her research concerns the significance of 3D printing for the art (historical) field and the perception of original works of art. In addition to a thorough analysis of the philosophical and ethical implications of this technology, her research also explores the applicability of the technology for (technical) art historical research, the conservation and (museum) presentation of paintings. She is affiliated with the KNAW as Face of Science and works as Education & Research Community Manager for CLARIAH.
